Broad-velocity-width Molecular Features in the Galactic Plane

چکیده
Abstract We performed a systematic search for broad-velocity-width molecular features (BVFs) in the disk part of our Galaxy by using CO J = 1–0 survey data obtained with Nobeyama Radio Observatory 45 m telescope. From this search, 58 BVFs were identified. In comparisons infrared and radio continuum images, 36 appeared to have both counterparts, 15 them are described as outflows from young stellar objects literature. addition, 21 counterparts only, eight One BVF (CO 16.134–0.553) does not any luminous counterpart other wavelengths, which suggests that it may be an analog high-velocity compact clouds Galactic center.

The Plane-Width of Graphs
Map the vertices of a graph to (not necessarily distinct) points of the plane so that two adjacent vertices are mapped at least unit distance apart. The plane-width of a graph is the minimum diameter of the image of its vertex set over all such mappings. We establish a relation between the plane-width of a graph and its chromatic number. We also connect it to other well-known areas, including t...
متن کاملBroad Iron Lines in Active Galactic Nuclei
An intrinsically narrow line emitted by an accretion disk around a black hole appears broadened and skewed as a result of the Doppler effect and gravitational redshift. The fluorescent iron line in the X-ray band at 6.4 – 6.9 keV is the strongest such line and is seen in the X-ray spectrum of many active galactic nuclei and, in particular, Seyfert galaxies. It is an important diagnostic with wh...
متن کاملThe EVN Galactic Plane Survey – EGaPS
I present a catalogue of the positions and correlated flux densities of 109 compact extragalactic radio sources in the Galactic plane determined from an analysis of a 48-h Very Long Baseline Interferometry (VLBI) experiment at 22 GHz with the European VLBI Network. The median position uncertainty is 9 mas. The correlated flux densities of the detected sources are in the range of 20–300 mJy. In ...
متن کاملLine Survey Observations of the Galactic Plane
We present results of our survey observations of the [C II] 158 μm line emission from the Galactic plane using the Balloon-borne Infrared Carbon Explorer (BICE). Our survey covers a wide area (350◦∼< l ∼< 25, |b| ∼< 3) with a spatial resolution of 15. We employed a new observing method called the “fast spectral scanning” to make large-scale observations efficiently. Strong [C II] line emission ...
متن کاملRadio Pulses along the Galactic Plane
We have surveyed 68 deg 2 along the Galactic Plane for single, dispersed radio pulses. Each of 3027 independent pointings was observed for 67 s using the Arecibo telescope at 430 MHz. Spectra were collected at intervals of 0.5 ms and examined for pulses with duration 0.5 to 8 ms. Such single pulse analysis is the most sensitive method of detecting highly scattered or highly dispersed signals fr...
